Core for Life is happy to encourage the recent publication ‘How tech-savvy employees make the difference in core facilities’ by VIB, one of our institutional partners.

Over the past decades, we have established Core Facilities to enable the scientific community in their research by providing access to technology and adequate expertise. Core facility jobs are different from jobs in research labs and there is a need for a general framework for core facility careers, separate from existing frameworks that have been specified for research lab personnel.
