Proteomics Work Group

Mission

The mission of the Core for Life Proteomics Workgroup is to share knowledge and expertise to advance the development and implementation of proteomic workflows in our core facilities, which in turn advances research. We regularly organize meetings where we visit each other’s facilities and discuss different topics (sample preparation, LC-MS methodology, data analysis, quality control, …). We also engage in collaborative inter-core projects, for example in benchmarking methods and establishing proper quality control standards.

What do we do?

Below you can find our running projects, upcoming and past events and highlighted publications.

QCloud

QCloud is a cloud-based system to support proteomics laboratories in daily quality assessment using a user-friendly interface, easy setup, and automated data processing.

QSample

QSample is an automated system to monitor key quality indicators in user samples. Currently under development (implementation funded through a Core for Life Challenge Project).

ProteoBench

ProteoBench: a EuBIC-MS initiative to establish an open and collaborative platform for community-curated benchmarks for proteomics data analysis pipelines. The Core for Life Proteomics workgroup is working closely with the ProteoBench community to improve, develop, use, and share benchmark pipelines of proteomics data analysis tools (funded through a Core for Life Challenge Project).
